Who We Are
Our company started in 1991 and after a successful venture in Western Massachusetts, Envirotest was formed in the Boston area with a focus on building hazards such as Air Quality and Sick Building Syndrome. Envirotest then naturally progressed on to focus into Asbestos, Radon and Lead Paint testing.
Our first air quality sampling for mold (fungi) on a building was performed in 1992 to determine the cause of mold growth (in an attic) which was devastating a private home. This specific test was performed well before most mold (fungi) testing firms, laboratories and consultants even thought of mold testing in construction as a viable business.
Our mold expert is
Samuel N. Cohen, he has over 25 years experience in the Environmental Science field, has intimate knowledge of Construction Codes, and can determine air quality problems quickly and then recommend many cost effective ways to solve your air quality problem.
